Cilantro Cream Dip


Cilantro Cream Dip 

Makes 1 1/4 cups

Ingredients

1 cup tightly packed fresh cilantro

1 cup sour cream

1 jalapeno seeded and roughly chopped

1 Tablespoon fresh lime juice (1/2 lime)

1/2 teaspoon mild green chili powder

1/4 teaspoon salt  

Preparation

Place all ingredients in a food processor or high powered blender. Process until completely blended and serve.

Serve

Use as a dip for chips, pita triangles, cocktail hot dogs (most any hot appetizer) or raw veggies.  

Spoon it over burgers, quesadillas, grilled chicken, corn on the cob, tacos (especially fish tacos), kabobs, blackened salmon, and grilled vegetables.

It’s fantastic on sliced roast pork, chicken, beef, lamb and game meats.  

Store

Keep any leftover in the refrigerator.  It will stay fresh a day or two.  Stir before using.
