Uh Oh My Spinach Is In Trouble
My Green Kids are doing very well overall. I am happy with the results from starting with seeds, however, that doesn't mean there aren't a few misses as well.
My spinach was growing up nicely for weeks. Then kablam! It started to check out on me. I did not thin the row, so perhaps that added to the problem. However, even with the small amount of plant left, the row continues to struggle.
My peppers and my bunching onions are at a standstill. Initially, they grew like crazy. Now? They stand a a fraction of the height of my (now growing up a storm) tomatoes.
Herbs are all healthy - which the exception of yellowing on a few of them. I'm being quite picky, I know, because plants will get a bit of yellow sometimes no matter what you do. Still I want to get them just-right! To reach that end I'm experimenting with how much water and how often they get it.
