Love The Retro Look 

It's always in style, really.  I mean, who doesn't want to wear a Marilyn Monroe style swimsuit once in a while?  Or, if you're like me, you want to wear one often! 

Orange Is The New Black 

Well, sure, it can be.  Not the kind of orange that was in the TV show lol, but, orange in swimwear is definitely a good choice.  Why?  It's bright, fun, and can enhance an olive or warm complexion beautifully.  When you wear an orange swimsuit, you feel happy.  I know I do.  

Stripes Are Not The Enemy 

Of course not.  Stripes can be terrific, even horizontal ones.  It depends on the overall fit of the garment.  Which is always what I say comes first.  Fit.  Fit.  Fit.  

You'll Project 50s Class 

And that's a very positive thing.  Back then women like my mom, and maybe yours too, did not want to be "skinny".  In fact, if a woman was ever called "skinny" it was not a compliment.  Just the opposite.  To the girls of yesteryear, a too thin body was not their idea of class.  

Mind you, ladies still wanted to have nice shapes, but the idea of "no meat on the bones" just wasn't their aim.  And it should not be our aim nowadays, either.
