Just Not The Same 

Your body needs prescribed exercise at least 3 times per week, every week.  It does not matter what else you are doing!  

This is especially true if you think that running errands, going to the mall, or, doing normal housework could be a substitute.  It cannot.  Those are things you are used to doing, first of all, and therefore will not change your fitness level.  While activity is very important for maintaining a healthy body weight,  lowering stress levels, and enjoying life overall, it will never take the place of planning and adhering to a whole body workout.
