New Name. New Content. And Autism.
NCTV is a combination of my first initial, second initial and the TV speaks for itself. I'm going to be publishing both video and podcast content covering health, beauty, family and faith. All of these come together in my life - and I'll be sharing my knowledge, experience and results with you through my work on this channel.
Autism
My autistic son is 32 years old, and when the public school system failed him at age 4, I began homeschooling him on my own. I went to the library, bought books, even formed what then a Yahoo group (back in the 90s) as a support and exchange group for parents of autistic kids. And so I began a 28 year journey of learning, implementation of different teaching approaches, and adding behavioral, speech and occupational therapies as I educated myself on each subject.
My earlier education is in business, and later in fitness, nutrition, and skin care. The knowledge I acquired teaching my son has been huge, and I do plan to share much of that here.
Additionally, my son has never been on medication relating to his autism. None of any kind. Instead we have used dietary intervention, nutraceuticals and homeopathic protocol to help with gut functioning, which also helps brain functioning, and learning challenges.
